CIP: Portfolio presentation talk

Fig Taylor, who consults with illustrators and designers about how they need to prepare and construct their portfolio came in to give us a talk about what we should be doing or should consider doing for our very own portfolio, in terms of presentation. Her advice was very straight forward, clear and concise. I’ve learntContinue reading “CIP: Portfolio presentation talk”

Utterly moving words: First experimentations with words; ideas and workshops. 2/?

A brief update with the ‘Bang’ experimentation from the paper cut outs. Some of them turned out pretty well, while others didn’t turn out as good. Artist/Designer of the week: Nokkasili

I briefly mentioned before that I’ve started to play around with those ideas and yet, I’m not so satisfied with what I have at the moment. Not onlyContinue reading “The soundtrack of our lives: Poster talk with Bill.”

What is a poster?

In the previous week, we had two talks that were mainly focusing on the question, ‘What is a poster?’.  The first talk was with Matthew Caley, which I found to be both benificial and interesting towards our current project: The Soundtrack of our lives. He began to give a brief run down on how heContinue reading “What is a poster?”
